'Protect Our Heritage Inc' is a local community group who has recently been formed to unite local residents as a group to protect local heritage and say No to the E6 Freeway Proposal.
The E6 proposals are a waiste of taxpayers money as a current freeway is just 3-5km west and will divide current communities and our precious environment.Paralle Universe
It has been voiced by our new government planning Minister Mathew Guy that he will stand by his pre-election promise at a recent local event. Therefore Protect Our Heritage Inc committee unanimously voted to send the below email to our local council and see the lifting of acquisitions over landowners. 16th September 2011

The committee and members of Protect Our Heritage commend all councillors at the City of Whittlesea for your excellent work thus far in attempting to have the E6 freeway proposal removed and therefore removing the public acquisition overlays placed on landowners north of Findon road.
We acknowledge your great work so far with meetings with Planning Minister Matthew Guy and future meetings with both Minister Guy and Minister Mulder on this issue. We look forward to a positive result in the near future.
Protect Our Heritage stand united with Council on this emotional issue and would be more than pleased for these unnecessary overlays removed from land in the hope that locals can rest comfortably with the fact that their land no longer bears a needless acquisition overlay.
We support council with the original plan for an E6 arterial road terminating at Bridge Inn Road and are pleased that council remain on a firm course of action to readdress this situation.
